A few details help us answer faster:
- Whether you use the web app or the iPhone app, and your browser or iPhone model and iOS version.
- The app version, shown under More → Legal & support in the iPhone app.
- Whether you are signed in, and with Google or Apple.
- What you did, what you expected and what happened instead, including any error message.
- Screenshots, if they help. Hide anything you don’t want to share.
Never send passwords or sign-in codes. Attach a backup file only if we ask for one.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. You can log workouts, food and bodyweight without an account, on the web or on iPhone, and your log stays on that device. You only need an account, with Google or Apple, to sync your log between devices and keep a copy on our server.
How do I sync the iPhone and the web?
Sign in to the same account on both, under More → Your account in the iPhone app and in the web app. If a device already has records, FitArchive asks whether to add them to your account and saves a backup first. If you used Sign in with Apple and chose to hide your email, use Sign in with Apple on the web too, or link both methods under Sign-in methods. Once you are signed in, changes sync automatically when you are online. Progress photos never sync; they stay on the device where you added them.
How do I connect or disconnect Apple Health?
In the iPhone app, open More → Apple Health and turn on each kind of data you want to share: workouts, bodyweight, waist or nutrition. iOS asks for permission the first time. To disconnect, turn those switches off, or revoke access in Settings › Privacy & Security › Health › FitArchive. Data already written stays in the Health app, where you can review or delete it. Apple Health is not available in the web app.
How do I export or import my data?
Open More → Your data. Download a backup (a JSON file) to keep a copy or move your log, or export your sets and food log as CSV for a spreadsheet. To import, restore from a backup file; FitArchive shows what will be added or updated before anything changes. On iPhone, backups are saved to and opened from Files. Progress photos are not included in backups.
How do I delete my account?
Open More → Your account and choose Delete account, on the web or in the iPhone app. You confirm with Google or Apple first. FitArchive then saves a backup to your device, deletes your synced log from our server, deletes your account, revokes Sign in with Apple if it is linked, and removes the account’s records from that device. Other devices signed in to the account are signed out when they next sync. If you can no longer sign in, email us.
Why didn’t a reminder arrive?
Reminders are local notifications from the iPhone app; the web app doesn’t send any. Check that the reminder is on under More → Reminders, that notifications are allowed in Settings › Notifications › FitArchive, and that a Focus isn’t silencing them. A reminder is skipped when you have already done it that day, for example after finishing a workout, logging two meals or weighing in. Reminders are planned two weeks ahead, so open FitArchive at least once every two weeks to keep them coming. The streak reminder only arrives when a freeze won’t save your streak, and the rest reminder only while FitArchive is in the background.
Does FitArchive collect usage analytics?
Only if you allow it. In the iPhone app, a “Help improve FitArchive” card asks once, after a few days of use, and the switch is under More → Help improve FitArchive. If you allow it, the app sends anonymous counts such as a finished workout or a logged food, never food names, body measurements, photos, notes or account details. The web app has its own choices under More. The privacy policy has the details.
Is FitArchive free?
Yes. FitArchive is free on the web and iPhone, with no ads. Later, the iPhone app will offer optional paid plans, Plus and Pro, for AI and analysis features. The core log stays free forever.
